vézanne, a meaningful approach
With an artisanal requirement driven by an artistic vision, at the heart of environmental challenges.
Vézanne jewelry is handmade by Clélia Chotard in her workshop located in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe.
Each piece, fine gold-plated by a company certified as a Living Heritage Company, celebrates the beauty of antique faience.

Vézanne
an artistic approach
A graduate of the School of Fine Arts with an approach focused on painting, Clélia's ambition with the Vézanne workshop is to create jewelry that focuses on painted details.
These patterns have the ability to capture a moment and make it tangible and wearable. It's an intimate way to carry history and make it a part of one's own identity.
With the same high standards as a work of art, Clélia is committed to designing and then manufacturing unique and contemporary pieces in her workshop in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe.
Vézanne jewelry carries meaning, imbued with memories, and admired like miniature paintings.
On the back, each piece of jewelry is signed and hallmarked, certifying the good quality of the plating.

vezanne
artisanal craftsmanship
Each Vézanne jewel is born in the hushed silence of the workshop.
Under the focused light, movements are patiently and passionately repeated.
The earthenware is carefully cut.
The flame heats the metal, gold sublimates it.
The earthenware fragments find their setting.
Nothing is left to chance. Each mounting is custom-made, designed to house and reveal a chosen motif. It's a constant dialogue between forms, compositions, colors, where the legacy of our traditions elevates contemporary creation.
From inspiration to creation, a unique work emerges, revealing memories, steeped in narrative, and looking towards the future.

Vezanne
An environmental project
At the workshop, we are committed to using and giving new life to existing materials to design and create timeless new objects without producing new waste. This is the art of upcycling; it's the art of creating new from old.
Vézanne is part of a virtuous approach, both artisanal and environmental.
Pieces of earthenware found in the soil of Malicorne, plates discovered at house clearances, attic sales, and flea markets. All had a first life.
These earthenware pieces are brought back to life through the creativity and artisanal work of the workshop to become timeless jewelry.
